CEP Freiberg develops and produces powder-metallurgical copper-based high-temperature materials, and offers them as semi-finished and finished components – including as continuous materials.

These cutting-edge oxide dispersion strengthened (ODS) copper-based materials are produced by means of innovative processes. The resulting products offer a combination of mechanical/technological and physical material properties that typical metals cannot match. CEP Freiberg’s products help to close application technology gaps where, until now, only compromises were possible.

For years, CEP Freiberg has been supplying the welding technology industry with exceptionally wear-resistant contact tips for arc welding. The materials are also used for special applications in other technology sectors – especially where the very highest thermal and/or electrical conductivity, coupled with the highest temperature resistance, is required. CEP Freiberg welcomes the testing of its products in any new application.
